GETTING YOUR PROPERTY READY FOR A SHOOT

Before Your Shoot

To get the best results, please make sure:

✅ The property is fully cleaned and camera ready
✅ No cleaners or vendors are scheduled during the shoot
✅ Vehicles are moved away from the front of the property
✅ Pets are secured or removed
✅ If the home is occupied, someone must be present for the entire shoot

🏠 Interior Preparation

  • Remove or conceal personal items, branded materials, paperwork, trash cans, cleaning supplies, and loose clutter

  • Clear countertops, desks, tables, nightstands, and vanities

  • Straighten furniture, seating areas, and décor

  • Make beds

  • Turn on all interior lights and replace any burnt-out bulbs

  • Turn off TVs and computer monitors

  • Open blinds and shades unless privacy is a concern

  • Remove small rugs, excess décor, and floor clutter if they crowd the space

  • Secure or remove pets and pet items from visible areas

  • Hide visible cords and cables where possible

🌴 Exterior Preparation

  • Park vehicles off-site or on the street, not directly in front of the property

  • Remove trash cans, bins, signage, cones, hoses, and tools

  • Ensure sprinklers and water features are off during the appointment

  • Sweep walkways, entry areas, patios, and common spaces

  • Arrange and clean outdoor furniture

  • Remove outdoor toys, pet items, and temporary objects

  • Uncover outdoor furniture, grills, and amenities intended to be photographed

🙌 What our photographers do not do

For efficiency, safety, and consistency, we do not:

  • Move furniture, décor, cords, or personal items

  • Clean, stage, or declutter spaces

  • Make beds or reset rooms

  • Handle pets or pet items

  • Remove signage or branding
